Adding Fabrics and Photos to EQ8
There are two sessions of the Adding Fabrics and Photos to EQ8 class. This second session is a repeat of the first. Do not enroll in both of these classes.

Class Overview
This half-day class will show you how simple it is to add your own fabrics and panels to EQ8. Learn how to import fabrics, straighten, scale, crop, and add the fabrics to your Favorites library! Discover the differences between fabrics and panels and how to edit them for your design.
Using photos in your quilt is very similar to how you would use fabrics. Learn the difference between photos and fabrics, import photos for use in a photo quilt, and discover new ways to use photos that you may not have even imagined.
Note: This class was offered at previous EQ Academy workshops and will cover the same material.

Not only did I learn a lot about the software, I had a lot of fun doing it. The teachers were knowledgeable and willing to take the time to help anyone with questions. All the EQ staff was friendly and made the Academy truly a great experience!

The beginning class gives you a firm grounding in the basics, and gave me the confidence to move forward with the specialty classes. The instructors and staff are extremely knowledgeable and make sure all your questions are answered (plus they provided lunch and a great gift bag!) I highly recommend taking at least the basics class if you’ve only played around with EQ. You’ll be amazed at what it can do!

It was a terrific experience. I have been using EQ8 for about 1 1/2 years and wondered if it would really be worth going that far for the classes…but after the first few hours I could have gone home happy. I learned so much to enhance what I already knew how to do. Thanks for making it a great experience.

This was my first time at the EQ Academy. And it was worth the wait! I learned so much, and came back home and started using what I learned right away. Created my first table runner in EQ8 and actually finished it. Can’t wait to start another project AND attend another class. Thank you for everything.
