Class Overview

Many have asked how to prepare to teach EQ8, and we’d love to show you! This full-day seminar is intended to equip you with information about setting objectives and preparing lesson plans, setting up a classroom, identifying various learning styles, making contacts for teaching at various venues, managing a classroom, using social media and handling professional contracts. EQ staff and experienced EQ teachers will be on hand to answer questions and provide the latest information about EQ projects. Discover online resources for supportive information. You are welcome to share your own tips for successful teaching in breakout sessions during this class.

Barb Vlack has taught EQ classes for many years. (Read her full bio here.) She will share her experiences in the classroom, guide you with ideas that have worked for her, and provide insight on those unexpected events that can make or break a class.
