Willing to travel

With years of EQ experience and 20+ years of teaching, I can design a class or lecture to fit your needs.

Guild lectures are geared for those interested in computer design but with plenty of photos and real quilts to keep everyone interested.

Classes could be demo’s only and students do not need to own the program or bring computers. Have a tour of what the EQ program can do, using many quilt styles & techniques. Students who own the program gain the confidence to go home and play with it. It’s also good for someone who just wants to see how EQ works before making the decision to purchase it.

Hands on classes will give students time to explore the program with projects set up for beginner, intermediate and advanced options. Bring your computer with EQ8 loaded and spend time exploring the program. Design blocks, quilts and borders from scratch and from the EQ library. Learn about libraries, block design, borders, quilt layouts, quilting designs, printing, yardage estimates and other tools.

I have experience with online teaching and lectures or will travel to your destination.

Take your quilting into the computer age. Play with color, design and pattern ideas. Rotate or mirror blocks, recolor, add sashing, figure yardage, create borders (with the corners automatically calculated), generate accurate patterns and more with the click of a mouse. Many of the commands are what you are already familiar with from computers, phones and I-pads.
