Lone Stars are an iconic traditional quilt design that have a special meaning for several cultures. These quilts look complex, but when you know the right steps, they’re quite easy to design in EQ! In this half-day class, Nancy will guide you through the design process for these stunning quilts.
Learn how to use designs from the Layout Library and experiment with different blocks for beautiful results. Explore setting triangle options and coloring effects that can take your quilt from ho-hum to WOW. Add borders to complete your designs and then review the printing options for your quilts. You’ll leave class ready to go home and sew!

About EQ Academy
EQ Academy is a workshop for students wanting to learn how to use their EQ8 software. EQ8 classes are either half day (3 hours) or full day (6 hours) with an hour lunch break in between sessions. Each instructor brings years of experience and will provide practical content for the use of software.
How to fill your days: It is not required that you attend all days of the event. You may enroll in as many classes as you like. If you do plan to attend all days, we recommend filling your days with as many classes as you can. Click here to see a complete schedule (PDF) of all the classes being offered.
These are EQ8 computer classes. There will be no sewing during class time.
